Mass Drivers


Obsolete Firearms Obsolete firearms are old outdated tech using a charge made of gun powder based in a shell to propel a lead or metal encased projectile forward. These weapons are not designed to take on the extra heat output of ICES propellant.

Standard Firearms Modern day firearms are composed of a highly vented mechanism and liquid cooled barrels for firing an all metal projectile with an ICES charge that generates far greater force and speed than standard gunpowder, as well as a much greater creation of heat and recoil. ICES propellants are too powerful to fire lead-based projectiles without obliterating it before it even leaves the barrel.

Psi-Drivers Psi-Drivers resemble more standardized firearms though not requiring as much venting nor cooling systems. Psi-Drivers use Psitech to build up a telekinetic force to rapidly propell projectiles with no recoil and high stopping power.

Magi-Drivers Magi-Drivers resemble more standardized firearms though not requiring as much venting nor cooling systems. Magi-Drivers use magi tech to infuse projectiles with magical effects and fire them off with kinetic energy to limit recoil and sound. Magi-Drivers can apply many magical effects on to projectiles to spread chaos and death across the enemies.

Charged Firearms Charged Firearms is a new age addition to Standard modern firearms patented by Cydren Research: Weapons and Technology. Charged rifles sport in additional complexes designed to scan shield frequencies, match them, and then recreate a counteracting frequency which projectiles are coated into bypass enemy shields with ease. While many would assume this would be a standard weapon Charged firearms have extremely fragile inner workings making them unreliable in extended field duties and in need of constant repair. However, as a weapon for defense forces in established bases, it works very well in countering heavy shield infantry.

Gauss Guns Gauss Guns use an electrified coil or sets of multiple coils charged into electromagnets that are used to propel a ferrous projectile at high speeds eliminating the risk of explosive charge detonations.

Rail Guns Rail Guns follow a relatively identical basis to Gauss guns but use a slightly different means of launching projectiles by using two rails and a metal projectile which are all charged turning them into an electromagnet. Firing projectiles out with out fear of explosive charge detonations.

Slug Guns A slug gun fires a large chunk of ferrous metal using a set of charged coils which are used to boost the speed of the projectile that is launched via an ICES charge. Slug Guns are capable of sending forth of super high-speed projectiles with enough weight behind them to hurt Centian and Tarosque forces. Slug Guns are generally too overkill for use against smaller targets between their high munition and weapon weights making them difficult to transport by infantry.

Flak Guns A Flak Gun is based on Slug Guns though here the projectiles are equipped with a secondary charge that causes the projectile to detonate in a violent explosive shrapnel. Using a magnetic coil and ICES charges to send projectiles flying at extreme velocities often these projectiles enter a target before they have a chance to explode making them all the more deadly.

Ferrous Streamer Ferrous Streamers involve an insulated tank and a small furnace fed by a hopper. Scrap metal is loaded into the hopper being melted down into the tank. This tank is attached to a small handle and long barreled nozzle attached to a C02 Canister that is used to propel molten metal out onto victims in agonizing searing death.

Vlad Gun Vlad Guns fire large all metal harpoons with barbed tips designed to bite into wood and concrete materials to pin targets with high regeneration traits. The harpoons are propelled by a large ICES charge. Vlad guns are not generally used for most standard targets as the high-velocity harpoon tends to pierce clean through most people.

Rod Gun Rod Guns use a magnetic rail, magnetic coil, an ICES charge, or a combination of them to propel a blunt rod at high velocities against a target with crushing force. Designed specifically not to penetrate targets these rods crunch armor crushing metal plating, so it compresses diaphragms, shatters bones, and deals heavy concussive force to brains and internal organs. Perfect for knocking over and crippling heavily armored targets and using kinetic force to tear them apart from the inside out.

Needle Gun Needle guns fire rods made of tungsten steel alloy propelling projectiles with a Psitech telekinetic repulsor down a set of magnetic coils that in combination propel these needles at such high speeds they slip through the atoms of armor and flesh. These needles are too thin to deal much damage, but they leave small wounds that can easily become infected and inflicting extreme pain. Best used for shredding through heavy infantry though are far too expensive to mass produce for general infantry.

Veil-Piercers A Veil-Piercer uses a mixture of Psi and Magi techs based on Veil Piercer drives. Veil Piercers launch a projectile at FTL speeds violently tearing targets apart as catastrophic sonic booms shred the world around it if fired in an atmosphere. Veil Piercers are primarily used, for this reason, on capital ships(Due to the cost) as to not lay ruin to the user and surroundings. Veil-Piercer rounds partially phase into the veil and will effectively penetrate any material save for Kiwite.
